Wilton Intensive Course 1,2 and 3

Last 2 days  I finished my Wilton Intensive Course 1,2 and 3. The classes were conducted by Rosalind Chan who is CEO and founder of ICCA.  I learn about cake decorating techniques, it look easy but it's not.  This is an intensive course which covers all cake decorating method using buttercream, royal icing and fondant as a medium.

Wilton Course 1 focus on basic decorating torting a cake, frosting, basic shell and zigzag borders, the Wilton roses (15 petals), the Sweet Pea, the Bow, pattern transfer, drop flower and figure piping. In Wilton Course 2  I learned to create lovely flowers like rosebud, daisies, daffodils and more with royal icing. I learned to cover cake with fondant, fondant roses and assembling and decorating 4 tiered cakes as a final project in Wilton Course 3.

Rosalind enjoy sharing her knowledge and cake decorating tips during the classes, so it is worth for every RM.  3 days holding a piping bag make me feel exhausted but I enjoyed and  I feel more confident after taking the courses. Plus I had been scolded by my husband on my last day courses because he had to wait more than 3 hours, the class  finished at 9.00pm. A thousand apologies to my beloved husband and my cute lil boy, thank you for "patiently" waiting  and love you so much!!! I owe you guys KFC and Muara Klang!

My next journey... continental cake class
